KUMEU ART IN THE GARDEN - TICKETS ON SALE

They may not sell out in 20 minutes like Metallica but locals, art and garden lovers agree, it is a great value event that  infuses the very best of this creative lifestyle community.  Nigel of Remuera commented about the 2009 event “Congratulations on organizing a great weekend at Kumeu and the excellent gardens we visited and the art displayed. Clearly many people had made a great effort, with much creativity, to enable Aucklanders’ to enjoy these achievements. We were extremely impressed with, and enjoyed, the event you all provided”.
Tickets are available at $20 Adult and Child (under 15) $10 as an early bird till 1 October with Tickets being limited in numbers due to parking and traffic control.
The event operates 10am to 5pm over two days being 6th and 7th November 2010 with one ticket allowing access to both days. Over 100 local, regional and national artists traditionally display and sell their art which makes it the perfect destination for pre-christmas purchasing. Credit Card and Eftpos facilities operate at all gardens to help with the transactional requirements on the day.
All proceeds are directed via Rotary Kumeu to local charities being:
-       Kumeu-Huapai Volunteer Fire Rescue
-       West Auckland Hospice
-       Kumeu Community Patrol
Tickets may be purchased from Kumeu Visitor Information Centre, Main Road, Kumeu, phone 09 412 9886, or online at www.kumeuartinthegarden.co.nz
